Hey, the new Channel 101 shows are live! Check out Car-Jumper #8. Also, if you haven’t seen it, check out Tom Kauffman’s cancelled show Strands.
This episode was a fun in-joke experiment, and I’m glad we didn’t suffer from it. I want to keep playing around and trying fun things with Car-Jumper forever. See you at the end of May.

Car-Jumper Episode 8 y’all!
Channel 101 is on Saturday. Come check it out. Maybe vote for Car-Jumper, you know, if you like the episode and like me and don’t want me to be miserable. I’m pretty nervous about this episode!
Come out and support the show that gives me sunburns at least five days per month.
Dude, we only shot three days this episode. If we get voted back I’m going to rub sunscreen on you on shoot day.
Hey people, come to Channel 101 tomorrow and vote Car-Jumper back and I promise I’ll post a video next month of me rubbing sunscreen on BK.

The best and funniest Web series, from Burning Love to Planet Unicorn, show us the future of a young medium perfect for the Internet
Hey, look how cool Channel 101 is.
I don’t know if any of these blurbs mention Channel 101, which is great, these shows reached audiences beyond 101. I mean, Chad Vader only had two episodes screen at Channel 101, and some of these shows kept churning out episodes after their cancellation from Channel 101, but this just shows off how the 101 formula… the community, the sensibilities, the stakes… helps make good web shit. Each of these shows were created by different people following the same rules and trying to entertain a similar audience. And it’s worth mentioning. Channel 101’s April Screening is Saturday.
EDIT: It’s seven if you include “I Love the 30’s” (made for 101 New York) and “Drunk History” (shot for Channel 101 but never submitted because Derek didn’t want to cut it down).

Listen to this awesome little stinger!
Although there’s no place for it in Car-Jumper Episode 8 (which is why I’m hunting through music libraries) it is so great. Feel free to use it. It will make any video great, I’m sure of it.

Hey that SPINDLE app I directed a video for is now available for use in Los Angeles. Could be worth checking out, if you’re into that sort of thing and moved by this sweet video. ;-)

Car-Jumper Ep 7 - Behind the Scenes Go Pro Shot
So when we did the one-shot episode of Car-Jumper, BK clipped a Go Pro onto his Glidecam rig and pointed it back at himself, I think to prove that we did it all in one shot. It turned out pretty neat, so I did a little split-screen with the episode. You can see fun stuff, like Alex trying to flag off the screen for BK or me bumping into BK, screwing up the shot. Neat!
